Day 1: Arrival in Arusha & Transfer to Tarangire National Park

• Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our friendly Safari Trackers guide will warmly greet you.
• You’ll be transferred in a comfortable 4×4 safari vehicle to a lodge near Tarangire National Park (approximately 2-3 hours drive).
• After settling in and enjoying lunch, we’ll embark on an afternoon game drive in Tarangire.
• Tarangire Highlights: Famous for its large herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees dotting the landscape, and diverse birdlife. Keep an eye out for lions, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species congregating along the Tarangire River.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Tarangire National Park

• Today is dedicated to exploring the wonders of Tarangire. We’ll venture to different areas of the park, maximizing your chances of wildlife sightings.
• Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning scenery.
• Your experienced guide will share fascinating insights into the park’s ecosystem and animal behavior.
• As dusk settles, we’ll return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Day 3: Drive to Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti)

• After breakfast, we’ll transfer you to the Serengeti (approximately 7 hour). This Drive offers breathtaking Nature views of the landscapes of Ngorongoro Highlands where you will pass through.
• Upon arrival at a Serengeti Main Gate, our local guide will serve you Picnic Lunch at the NAABI HILL GATE.
• After lunch, you’ll experience your first thrilling game drive in the vast plains of the Serengeti.
• Serengeti Highlights (Central): Known for its classic savanna landscapes, abundant resident wildlife including the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo), and the iconic acacia trees.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti

• Today, we’ll delve deeper into the heart of the Serengeti. Our game drives will be tailored to the best wildlife viewing opportunities of the season.
• You might witness incredible predator-prey interactions and have chances to spot cheetahs and hyenas.
• Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
• Optional Activity: Hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti at sunrise (additional cost, pre-booking essential).

Day 5: Serengeti Game Drive & Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

• Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti as we begin our journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
• We’ll have a picnic lunch en route.
• In the late afternoon, we’ll arrive at a lodge situated on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, offering stunning panoramic views.
• Accommodation: Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge or similar (Full Board)

Day 6: Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater

• Today is a highlight of your safari! After an early breakfast, we’ll descend approximately 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• The crater is a natural wildlife sanctuary, home to a high concentration of animals, including a good chance of spotting the endangered black rhino.
• We’ll spend a full day exploring the crater floor with a picnic lunch by a hippo pool.
• Our experienced driver-guide will navigate the crater, ensuring excellent wildlife viewing and photographic opportunities.
• In the late afternoon, we’ll ascend the Crater Rim and Drive to Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge

Day 7: Maasai Cultural Experience & Transfer to a Bushmen Area

• After breakfast, we’ll visit an authentic Maasai village (Boma) near the Ngorongoro area.
• This is a unique opportunity to interact with the Maasai people, learn about their traditional way of life, customs, and vibrant culture. You might witness traditional dances and have a chance to purchase their beautiful handicrafts.
• Following the Maasai experience, we will drive towards an area where you can experience the culture of one of Tanzania’s Bushmen tribes (e.g., Hadzabe or Datoga). This will involve a transfer of a few hours, depending on the specific location.

Day 8: Bushmen Tribe Experience & Transfer back to Arusha

• Today, you’ll have an immersive cultural experience with the Bushmen tribe.
• You’ll have the chance to learn about their ancient hunting techniques, tracking skills, traditional medicines, and their unique way of life deeply connected to nature. You might even participate in some of their daily activities.
• After a fascinating morning, we’ll begin our drive back to Arusha (approximately 4-6 hours, depending on the Bushmen location).
• Upon arrival in Arusha, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for a relaxing evening.
• Accommodation: Arusha Sheraton Hotel or similar (Bed & Breakfast)

Day 9: Departure

• After breakfast at your hotel, depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for some souvenir shopping in Arusha.
• Our Safari Trackers guide will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward journey, filled with incredible memories of your Tanzanian adventure.
