DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha & Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our Safari Trackers guide will greet you.Drive to Ngorongoro Crater for Game drive and Overnight at the Lodge or Camp on the Crater Rim.Afternoon game drive focusing on resident wildlife and potential the Big 5 Game Animals.
Dinner and overnight.

Day 2 : Drive and Exploring Central Serengeti
Full days of game drives in the central Serengeti, known for its resident wildlife and beautiful landscapes. Opportunities to spot the “Big Five” and other plains game. Optional: Hot air balloon safari at sunrise.
Accommodation: Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge or similar (Full Board)
Day 4: Drive to Western Serengeti & Grumeti River Area
Enjoy a scenic drive to the western Serengeti, an area often teeming with the migration during this period as they move towards the Mara River. Game drives focusing on the Grumeti River and potential early crossing points. Overnight at a lodge or camp in the western corridor (e.g., Kirawira Serena Camp).

Day 5: Fly to Northern Serengeti – Mara River Focus
After breakfast, fly from a nearby airstrip to the northern Serengeti (Kogatende or Lamai). Transfer to a strategically located camp (e.g., Migration Camp or Sayari Camp). Afternoon game drive focusing on river crossing opportunities.

Day 6 – Day 7: Witnessing the Mara River Crossings
Full days dedicated to observing the Great Migration’s dramatic river crossings. Early morning and late afternoon are key times for witnessing the action. Your guide will position you at the best vantage points.

Day 8: Northern Serengeti Game Drive & Flight to Arusha
Final morning game drive in the northern Serengeti. Fly back to Arusha in the afternoon. Overnight in Arusha (e.g., Arusha Coffee Lodge).

Day 9: Departure
Transfer to JRO for your onward journey
