Day 1: Arrival in Arusha & Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our Safari Trackers guide will greet you. Drive to Ngorongoro Crater for Game drive and Overnight at the Lodge or Camp on the Crater Rim.
Afternoon game drive focusing on resident wildlife and potential the Big 5 Game Animals.

Dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Ngorongoro Serena, Grand Melia Lodge or similar (Full Board)

Day 2: Drive to Northern Serengeti – Migration Focus

After breakfast, take your Game Drive towards the northern Serengeti (e.g., Kogatende or Bologonja).Transfer to a camp strategically located for river crossing viewing (e.g., Migration Camp or Mara River Camp).Afternoon game drive with a focus on locating the migrating herds and potential crossing points.

Dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Migration Camp or Mara River Camp or similar (Full Board)

Day 3 – Day 5: Witnessing the Mara River Crossings

These days are dedicated to exploring the northern Serengeti, following the movements of the Great Migration. Early morning and late afternoon game drives will offer the best opportunities to witness the thrilling river crossings as wildebeest and zebras brave the Mara River, facing the challenges of strong currents and predators like crocodiles. Your experienced guide will have extensive knowledge of animal behavior and crossing patterns to maximize your chances. Enjoy picnic lunches in the bush and return to camp for relaxation and dinner.

Day 6: Northern Serengeti Game Drive & Flight to Arusha

Enjoy a final morning game drive in the northern Serengeti. Transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Arusha. Overnight at a comfortable hotel in Arusha (e.g., Arusha Coffee Lodge).


Dinner at the hotel.

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward flight.
